For making fully-polished, professional-level recordings meant for public release, we offer premium recording with two to six hours of recording time in the studio in one day. We can record up to twelve channels of instruments or vocals at the same time.
As a general rule of thumb, you can plan to spend anywhere between forty-five minutes to two hours per song in order to get the perfect take. With premium recording, I will be able to stitch together the best takes later.
Premium recording does NOT include mixing or mastering. These services will be provided after you leave the studio for an additional fee––professional-level recordings typically require the engineer to spend multiple hours on editing, mixing, and mastering for each song.
Do you have a song you're itching to record and release without breaking the bank? Single Recording & Mastering (aka Demo Days) could be the perfect fit.
On Demo Days, you'll have one hour of studio time for you to lay down the track and for me to mix and master it. You will leave the studio with a finished song ready to be released into the world!
Demo Days are limited to recording vocals, piano, and guitar or other solo, duo, or trio combinations. Keep in mind that professional-level recordings usually require multiple hours of recording, mixing, and mastering time. However, if you come prepared to nail your track, a Demo Day recording will turn out exceedingly better than recording and mixing yourself on budget-level equipment in your bedroom.
Single-angle 4k video footage of you recording may be added on for an additional $75.
Will you be auditioning for a job, university/conservatory, or summer program? Make your audition stand out with top-quality audio and 4k video in a professional environment.
Audition recording includes both audio and video recording for an instrumentalist, singer, or actor with no splicing of different takes. Standard turnaround time between the recording day and receipt of final files is three days, with same-day turnaround available for an additional $75.Do have a performance or other event and want a high-quality audio-video recording of it? Want to make an audio recording in a particular location? I am able to bring top-notch equipment to you to make it happen.
3-hour event or time slot (up to 30 miles from the studio): $500
Editing and audio mixing not included––post-production will be $75 per hour of labor. Additional recording hours or travel miles will require an additional fee.

Silver Moon Sound is a boutique recording studio in a single 26' x 15' room. We cater to acoustic ensembles and soloists or duos, but we have a separate space for amps available. Many classic and hit records were also recorded in single-room studios by using portable sound isolation treatment and skillful mic positioning like we do.
